At BigFoote Outfitters, camping is about more than just a place to stay. It's about making memories-where campfires crackle, the river flows and the only thing on your schedule is relaxation. Tucked away at the north end of Smithville Lake, our campground offers a welcoming, family-friendly environment built for those looking to unplug, spread out, relax by the fire and enjoy the outdoors the way it was meant to be. Whether you're pitching a tent under the stars or pulling in with your RV, you'll find everything you need for a comfortable, laid-back stay.

CAMPING OPTIONS

• Primitive Campsites: $25 per night
• RV Hookups (water + 30/50 amp + 110v): $50 per night
• Long term RV Sites: call for details
• On-site Honey Wagon service available at your campsite spot for a fee

RESERVATIONS

• Please call the store at 816-879-3460 for nightly reservations & long-term RV site details.
•  50% deposit due at time of reservation for nightly reservations.
•  Maximum allowed occupancy is six (6) persons and two tents per site. Campers with needs exceeding the six (6) occupancy allowed will be required to purchase additional campsites.
• If you have a large group floating and camping, you can give us a “Group Name” and let everyone call us and make their own reservations and deposit separately under that group name.
• If there is a threat of severe weather, you will receive a raincheck that is good for one year from the date of your reservation. If the threat of severe weather ends or the river is navigable by noon rainchecks will not be given.
• You waive your paid deposit if your reservation is not cancelled seven (7) days prior to your reserved camp date. If you do not call and do not show up, you will be charged the full price for your reservation.
• Notice there is a 3.5% credit card fee on the amount processed. Example: $100 reservation would be $103.50 charged. Forms of payment accepted are cash and credit card. Prices are subject to change.

CAMPGROUND RULES

If rules are not followed, you will be asked to leave without a refund.

•  Quiet time is from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am. Please respect your neighbors around you.
•  Utilize trashcans for ALL trash during your stay. If you fill your trash can while you are here please just let us know and we will get it emptied for you. If you leave trash out at your campsite at checkout you will be charged a $15 clean up fee...simply just use the trashcan at your site.
•  No running generators with the exception of the quiet inverter types.
•  Music is fine but keep your radio/stereo down low enough to not interfere with normal conversation. No music with obscene or vulgar language. You will be given one warning on this. If the violation continues your stay will be terminated with no refund.
•  No firearms or fireworks.
•  No ATVs/Motorcycles.
•  No fires are allowed when there is 15+ mph winds. No bottles or cans in the campfires, please utilize the trash can at your site. Keep the fire contained within the firepit. No fires outside of the firepit is allowed.
•  No defacing property, this includes chopping on or damaging the trees. No trenching.
•  No illegal drugs, nudity or solicitation for nudity. If you are found with possession of illegal substances authorities will be called and your stay will be immediately terminated with no refund.
• Smoking is allowed on the property. DO NOT throw your cigarette butts on the ground.
•  We LOVE pets, but do not enjoy stepping in their mess, please pick up after your pets. We do ask that all dogs must remain on a leash at all times (NO EXCEPTIONS). Loud or aggressive dogs will not be tolerated. Dogs are NOT permitted in the bathhouse. 
• For the safety of everyone, please do not drive over 5 MPH while driving thru the campground. Children may be playing & guests may be walking their pets. Keep an eye out for them.
• Bathrooms will be open 24 hours. Accompany children into the restroom, please don't allow them to go alone. 
•  Be RESPECTFUL of others. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT

•  Check In: 2:00 pm
•  Check Out: 12:00 pm

If you would like to check in earlier, please call the store at 816-879-3460 to see if your spot is vacant, if it is you are welcome to check in early.

FIREWOOD & BAGGED ICE

• $5 per bundle of wood (approximately 2’x2’)
• Delivery available to your campsite before 7:00 pm
• $3 per 10-pound bag of ice
• Self-serve: pay in the honor box after 7:00 pm for wood & bagged ice unless the store is still open
